Autumn or fall. However you want to call it, 'tis the season of rainy roofs. 'Tis the season of falling leafs,

Audio Z and the 28th FIFA

Montréal - Nagano - Mahler - Messiaen - Leclerc - Homier Roy...
Directed by Bettina Ehrhardt, produced by Cine Qua Non Media and mixed at Audio Z, "Montreal Symphony" follows some of the better moments of the MSO's exceptional 75th season. The doc recently won the Best Canadian Movie prize at this year's 28th FIFA (International Festival of Films on Art).
Also screening during the FIFA, we've had the pleasure of presenting a behind the scenes look at the world of classical dancers by following the Grands Ballets Canadiens during their stay at the Été de la Danse Festival in Paris, France. "Quelques pas à Paris", by Ezra Belotte-Cousineau, was mixed at our studios and is co-produced by Audio Z and La Petite Caisse de Boubou.
"Offre-moi ton corps", an study on the works of photographers who use the human body to better translate their concerns, is an intriguing piece that follows Bernar Hebert's L'Art du Nu, a first installment in his exploration of bodies and images. Scored by Serge Laforest and Martin Rouillard, the film will be shown on ARTV this May and was part of the official competition at this year's FIFA.

For a fourth consecutive year, we've given some time and our facilities to support the remarkable man and remarkable work of Father Emmet Johns. The television ad for Dans la Rue, produced in partnership with La Fabrique and Zip will air all through December.

After a fruitful collaboration in 2008 with Joss on the launch of Cartier’s « Roadster » fragrance, Danish production house Frame Dk entrusted Audio Z with a new sound design job. Our creation will accompany all EB Cup games for the 2009-2010 football season.
